Proactive Medical Protekt 400

The Protekt 400 pressure redistribution foam mattress by Proactive Medical is ideal for high risk users. This mattress offers a top layer of aerated, Lura-Quilt™ foam that allows air to circulate and reduces heat build up. Becuase of the increased cirulation, users are protected from skin breakdown and will stay cool and dry. The Protekt 400 also features 6" and 9" foam depth and a unique sloped heel section to reduce pressure on the upper portion of the body and increase bloodflow to the lower portion of the body. The heel section is precision cut to increase air flow beneath the feet and reduce perspiration. The top cover is made of a durable yet comfortable 4-way stretch nylon that is low friction and low shear to protect against skin breakdown. The cover is anti-microbial and fluid-resistant and features a 360° zipper with a protective flap to keep contaminants away from the foam interior. The Protekt 400 is also available with 3" raised rails for increased support and easier transfers.
